Just donate your LEGOs to us, and we will make sure they are reused! Just email us if you have any questions, or just to let us know you are sending some to us BrickRecycler@yahoo.com.

We can even pay for postage if you need, if you are in the US and ship by a Ground service (e.g. FedEx, UPS, or USPS).

YES, we are actively doing this, and need more pieces now.

BrickRecycler.com accepts donations of used loose LEGO bricks, figures, and sets. Simply put them in a bag, then in a box, and ship to us via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. There are more Lego packing tips here.

Did you know LEGOs are not marked with the recycling symbol, and are a mixuture of “Type 7 Plastic” (ABS) and other materials. If you dump them in your recycle bin your city will need to sort them out, and then just dump them in the landfill.

Unfortunately most thrift shops end up dumping LEGOs unless they are in complete sets in the orignal box. Many other nonprofits don’t know what to do with mixed up pieces.

We carefully sort LEGO brand (small block type) pieces, prepare them to make them available to kids and clubs who can enjoy the thrill of LEGO pieces for the first time, or find those “missing pieces” they are longing for.

In early 2014, we shipped off over 130 lbs of Legos for kids in Haiti! Watch the video on YouTube for The Wally Show’s awesome Hope for Haiti drive for Donating LEGOs.

Here are some of the other organizations we have worked with to help them spread the love of learning and building:

  • Help One Child (for foster children)
  • YMCAs and Children’s Organizations
  • Hands of Hope (for Zimbabwe orphanage)
  • Camp Opportunity (for at risk kids)
  • Dozens of Libraries and LEGO Clubs
  • Many of children and adult ‘artists and architects’. See some models here.

Thanks for making a difference, passing LEGOs on to future builders. Please help pass the word to others, link to our site, or “Like” us on FaceBook.

If you want to donate LEGO toys, but don’t have any Legos you want to part with, let us know. If you are are a 501(c) corporation and need LEGOs, let us know.
